Will I have to relive my fears? 

No. In fact, the practitioner does not even have to know what your exact fear is.

Are there any unpleasant side effects?

There are no lasting side effects. Some people feel slightly ‘disconnected’ for a few seconds – no longer – as the brain lets go of the problem at the end of the session.

How many sessions will I need?

One of the great things about BWRT®

is its speed. Often, a single session is sufficient to resolve your problems. It is rare for there to be a need for more than 4 sessions.

Does it last?

What happens in a session?

After getting some details from you, the practitioner will explain how BWRT® works, give you a brief talk on the anatomy and physiology of the brain and then it is on into the therapy itself. The therapy stops the unwanted response in its tracks so that the brain then waits for your preferred information – that will come from your own mind based on what you want, rather than as in most therapies where it is often based on what the therapist thinks you should have. YOU are totally responsible for changing your response to your issues using the BWRT® therapist as a catalyst to creating new neural pathways to bypass your old responses. As long as you have the ability to visualize images and recall memories you will be astounded by the results of this treatment.

How do you do that?

We start by ‘freezing’ the negative thoughts then we use a technique called ‘Recursive Looping’ to condition the way the brain responds to triggers. BWRT is the only therapy (as at July 2016) to work in this manner, making it one of the fastest and most effective therapies around.

So what is BWRT in nutshell?

A: You can take the bad habit or emotional reaction you have to an issue and replace it with a preferred outcome. What few people realize is that when faced with a situation your mind has already made a decision about how to react BEFORE you have a chance to consciously intervene – which is why you will find yourself repeatedly getting frustrated with a situation and thinking ‘why did I do that?” or “why do I keep doing that?”

Will I be put in a hypnotic trance?

This exciting therapy is a completely conscious therapy, i.e. no trance work as you would find in hypnotherapy. This works brilliantly for those who would love to experience the benefits of hypnotherapy type treatments but are held back and resistant because the concept of a trance and relaxation does not suit them. BWRT® releases trapped emotional issues like the methodologies of hypnotherapy, however it benefits from working on a principle of being nearly 90% content free, and you do not need to spend hours telling me about the problem you were having, my work is completed using an outline and the answers to a few key questions.
